Server log files
When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested, browser). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Hosting provider: Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages).
Contacting us
If you contact us by email or via the inquiry form, we process your details solely to handle the inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Inquiries sent via the form are not stored on the website; they are delivered to our mailbox by the email service Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France) acting as processor. Our mailbox is operated by Microsoft 365 (provided via GoDaddy), where inquiries and emails are stored. Data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

The website sets no cookies. Your language is determined solely by the address you visit. If you explicitly choose a colour scheme (dark, light or system), your browser stores this choice locally (localStorage, key “octapeak-theme”). It is not transmitted to us and can be deleted in your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
